Even a solo motorcycle
expedition is rarely a true solo effort, and my
Americas trip was
greatly enhanced by the help and generosity of wonderful folk both
at home and on the road. I sincerely hope that my forthcoming
African adventure will bring me into contact with yet more great
people.
BACK HOME
Stuart 'Reggie' Martindale: for a spontaneous offer to test ride his new Serow and just being an all-round good guy!My brother Nat (aka Dredds): for patiently answering all my silly questions as I wade through the quagmire of website design. Paul Gowen at the RAC for his helpfulness beyond the call of duty and his super-efficiency in sorting out my Carnet de Passage en Douane - the overland traveller's most hated document! ON THE ROADMerci beaucoup to motorcycle adventuress, Catherine, and Phillipe for a great start to my trip. To Rachel, Simon and Patrick in France for their hospitality and understanding. Many thanks to David 'Landline' Lambeth for giving me the opportunity to join in the fun of the El Chott rally for a few days. I had a great time!
Thanks to Abderahman, for all his help, kindness and tea in Algeria Thank you to OB for taking us into his home in Arlit, Niger Many thanks to Mohammed in Agadez, Niger, who took great care of us for two days and fed us well!
